Good evening Laity:

Happy New Year to each of you!
This is to announce that I, Shepherd L. Myrick, current President of the Florida Conference Lay Organization, will not seek re-election for the 2021-2023 term. 
Indeed, it has been an incredible honor to serve the Florida Conference  Lay Organization for the last four years. I am very thankful, grateful and blessed to have been a part of a team of dedicated individuals such as yourselves. I thank you all for your time, ideas, and support. Your unwavering  commitment, generosity and talents are unsurpassed.
As I announce my decision, I urge those who wish to seek the office of President,  to do so. The Letter of Intent Form should be completed and submitted to the Nominating Committee Chairperson, Mr. Henry Love,  by February 1, 2021.
I wish the Florida Conference Lay Organization all the best in the future. My utmost gratitude to you all. If I can assist in any way following the election, please do not hesitate to contact me.
